Associations urge DMAS to increase OR access for Medicaid beneficiaries with dental needs

The Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, sent a letter to the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services urging director Cheryl Roberts to address the pressing lack of operating room access for patients whose extensive dental needs must be performed under anesthesia.
